xperia s lt26i wont turn on exclamation mark showing

i updated settings tonight and the handset wont turn on, tried hard reset, nothing, pc companion wont recognise, any ideas please

Try this

Press and hold power button and volume up button at the same time

5 seconds > restart phone

10 seconds > shutdown phone

I have the exact same problem. It says SONY and then there's a triangle with an exclamation mark on it and a phone beside it. Please help!!!
