Need help !! Please direct me to an app that plays HTML help file

Hey buddies, I miss this forum so much

I just wanted to ask ; how can I open this type of file “Compiled HTML Help file (.chm)” in arc ???

The file looks like this in the attachment below .

Though there is an HTML viewer in arc but I don’t know why it doesn’t work ?!

Is there an app that could do the trick ?

By the way an update is available, but I just can't update because there is no solution to back up  everything! I really can't do it, but I wanna do it :smileysad:.

how to backup..!!

download any one of the file on your computer . ( if you download this directly on your phone , it will be easy , if not then download on your computer )

and if an update is available , you will get the option to select...

1) update without deleting anything this will not remove anything but to be on a safer side , backup with apk files i listed above

  2)update and format sd card ( not recommended ) it will delete all the phone;s data..

just to clear this , what android version you have..?? because you will get this option to save the data only if

  1)you are updating from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4

  2)updating 2.3.4 to 2.3.4 ( differnet firmware \build number )

Hmmm...

This backup app just backs the ******Android Market apps:smileyangry:. Where as all my apps are from Slide Me Market and other sources, so I will lose the apps and all the info restored in the app as well.

For example I use B noted and it's full of important notes which I really can't accept the fact that they might be deleted!!!:smileycry:
And there's also Medscape that took me ages to update and save files offline, can't stand it being deleted either!!:smileycry:

You know time is precious; I can't redo all that!:smileyshocked:

Now my OS is 2.3.3, so do you guarantee that this update won't delete any of my apps?
This is very serious! I hope some of the SE staff here confirm this.

You know when I first had my Arc, there were some accidents! Update crashes or wifi drops during the update which caused EVERY single thing to become deleted just like that!
Please someone confirm to me that I won't lose any data what so ever?:smileycry::smileycry::smileycry:

don't worry

open update service , follow on screen instructions , and before the update , it will ask you and if you don;t get the option , you can stop the update without having any trouble..

use update service ok.

and i'll search for other backup app..

when you select data , make sure it has a different option for your notes application..

like * contacts

* messages

* notes application

and see the faq of your application and see if you can backup your apps on your sd card ok..
