My Xperia x10 will not let me sign into my Googlemail account - help

I can access my ordinary email from my home server broadband, I can access Facebook that uses my Googlemail email account but every time I try to sign into my account on my phone it says there is not enough internet and to contact customer support. I have taken my phone to the shop and they could not get it to work, I have contacted Orange and they could nt help. Can anyone here help me please?

Many thanks for your suggestion. I have tried to reset but did not work and I also went to time.gov and managed to get up just one page with a turquoise background so I am ssuming that the test works but I still cannot connect. If I can get into my Facebook account that uses googlemail could that be a way in or the other thing I thought was to put all the email settings for my Googlemail account through the sam way I input my ordinary email account rather than go through the Google sign in, Any thughts?

Hello, Many thanks for your response and I should like to check out what you say but I am a quick learning novice who does not know how to check the thread. Would you be more specific please.

you were supposed to get a whole map w/ different time zones, so it seems that it is your internet connection that its acting up.

go to settings -> sony ericsson -> internet settings -> Ok

and go to

speedtest.net

on the homescreen of this website on the left side

you should click under 2010 -> then under Xperia X10 -> then create a thread (for future threads)
