how to turn off the vibrate in xperia arc S

...hi just wanna ask how to turn off the vibrate even if i already set it to "never"...

...any application to download if possible...

you can NOT turn off the haptic feedback from the

Lockscreen

or

Dial pad.

can you be more specific as to which vibrate mode are you referring to?

settings > sounds> (scroll down ) > unmark the option - haptic feedback

true but you can NOT turn it off for neither the Lockscreen (slide lock) nor Dial pad.

update 4.0.2.a.0.62
vibrations are off for lock screen but not for dial pad

I stand corrected on the Lockscreen slide lock but NOT the dialer, check it

...how about the ringtone and message tone can the vibrate be turned off?...

Anytime

open the messaging app -> press MENU -> settings -> uncheck vibrate

To turn off vibration for message notification--

Go to Message

Press the Right button of your phone/menu button

Go to Settings

Uncheck the box "Notification vibration"

Now your phone should not vibrate during a message received i believe.
