Im now updated/rooted with ICS..
so what are the additional features and apps that can i enjoy on ICS..?
im also happy to know answers for some of my questions..
1) can we again switch back to ginger bread and how..?
2) is upgrading and rooting are same other than official/unofficial thing point..?
3) what is rom and were do i get roms..?
4) what are apps can i enjoy now i mean aft upgrading to ICS..?

2. No. Rooting is getting root access to all files, even system files of the smartphone.
3. XDA Developer forums

5. FTF files are Flash Tool Files, used to flash a ROM

Arnab im very thankfull for ur answers..
dude today i upgraded my phn wid ics with pc companinon now iam runnin on ics..i intsalled ROOT checker application it is saying my device is not rooted..if so how to root my device..? does any risk involved in rooting..? do i void warranty..? even now im confused wid rooting and official updating..
i already have ics den y do i need to root..?
i have only a part of knowledge abt android..now my mind is running wid many confusions...can u tell any websites that shows and explains everything abt android..?

root and manually update are not the same thing, if you don't know much about rooting you shouldn't do it
but if you must
i want learn abt android can u suggest any sites that teaches me from basics..

Arnab plz answer the questions that i askd abt rooting (displayed pictures above)..
you can only access some files in your smartphone, rooting gives you access to all files. but it is risky as you can delete system files.
