I had a Sony Xperia Z3. Last night, the screen was smashed, making the phone unusable. I removed the SD card to use it in a new phone, but then found out I had encrypted the card while in the Z3. Is there any way to recover the data on the card?
Thank you

Hi @PaulS3, I'm sorry to hear this.
I'm afraid that an encrypted SD card can only be read be the device that encrypted it. If this device is unusable, or reset, it will no longer be possible to access the data on the SD card. You will have to format the card before it can be used in another device.
I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this causes you.

Hi,
this is related to internal SD card, right? external card is not encrypted, or am I wrong?
