Sim error

Every now and again my sony z5 shows it as having no sim even thoough the sim is in the phone and has been all along, this is starting to happen more regularly and requires a phone reboot to fix the problem. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what is the permanent fix (if any)??

Are you using an original Nano SIM or you did cut a bigger SIM yourself or using a trimmer at a shop?

Im using an original sim provided by three

We need to exclude SIM defect here, so can you test another SIM in your phone?

Well in theory yes but it would mean doing without the phone for around a day or maybe even longer which isnt practical for work reasons etc

Well if possible you can buy a new SIM from Three, this way if the problem goes away then we know it's the old SIM, if not then we can suggest it's a hardware issue. In this case you'll need to contact your Local support and get your phone examined.
