SMS problem after software update

Hi,

I updated the android on my phone (Z3 dual, D6633) from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1.

I can not send and get SMS none of the SIM. I get an text: failed transmission. The phone numbers of SMS center are correct.

With 5.0.1 android the SMS service operated well.

What is the problem?

That sounds strange. Do you have a network connection on your phone? Are you able to place/receive calls?

Calls, LTE internet connection and wifi work. Only SMS wrong

I have got network. I think I'm not alone...

But the deleting (in setup/applications/all/messages) can not help. I made a reset on my handy (deleting all, hard reset)... and doesn't work...

Can I the android downgrade to 5.0.1 (back)?

I don't think that solve the problem.
The fault comes after update by all SIM (dual SIM phone), so I can say: I try 2 card and they don't work

But I will try it.

I put my SIM in an other phone and the SMS operates. And of course on my phone I put the other SIM and does not work.

If this behaviour persist with another SIM-card and appeared after a software update, I suggest that you perform a software repair using PC Companion. This will reinstall the latest software and don't forget to backup your data. When the repair is done, you can wait to restore any backup or install any applications > send a text message to see if same thing happens.

I solved the problem. I repaired the android by PC Companion. SMS is operated

By the way: I made a backup by PC companion (all files, all setup). When I reloaded this backup some funkcion not succed:

- phonebook OK, but the groups are deleted (familiy, friends, ICE, etc.)

- backgroung picture and ringtones: the files are in the backup but ths media files were not adjusted by the reloading

- name of the SIM cards

- icons, programs, widgets on the screens.

How can I make a backup as cloning?

I repalce the android and I reload this "cloning-backp" (3-4-5Gb file) and I not need to fine-tune the handy.
