Have just installed the latest KitKat 4.4.4 on my Z1 from Vodafone.
I am getting a message saying 'Rich Communications - Your messaging app now supports chat and sharing of pictures, videos and other files via your internet connection'. It then asks me for a phone number.
Any idea what number it wants?
The messaging app now has a tab - joyn - which has something to do with it. But there is no help or guidance.

I have discovered this is definitely a Vodafone issue. They are adding features to the messaging app – which they appear to control.
I have got a discussion going on the Vodafone Support Forum – which seems to be the right place for it.
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
I'm not familiar with this application/function, but is it not the phone number that you have in use for the moment it asks for? But what I can see on their web page, they are working with Vodafone. I suggest that you contact Vodafone for further assistance in this matter.
Z2, waiting for more upgrades better than KitKat..
In my case, in the Experia Z2 in Ireland, from Vodafone, it was not called Joyn anything but Message +. I uninstalled that. End of problem. Called various things in various countries
