Quick charge, does it really work?

My Xperia Z5 Premium is supposed to be able to charge in about 45 minutes with the new feature in these phones but it takes more than 2 hours, just like a regular charger. I have already checked that the charger in the retail is in fact compatible with the quick charge (UCH 10), the only unusual thing is that it comes in a shape that is probably for other territories and not compatible with my plugs but it comes as well with an adaptor. I would be really thankful if someone could help me.

It won't fully charge in 45 minutes, but indeed it should charge faster than with a normal charger from Sony. Can you download Ampere app from google play and tell what output does it detect when you charge?

My brother bought quick charger. He have Xperia z5 dual. But we can't see any quick charge for his phone. why is that? Z5 not support for quick charge or false advertising?

2 hours to charge normal and the quick charge mode. He bought aukey battery power bank with qc 2.0. Its recommended by qualcomm. But his Xperia z5 dual not support.

Hi guys, I recently updated my Xperia z5 dual to android 6.0.1, software version 32.2.A.0.0224. After the update, everything was working fine for me except the quick charge is gone. I am still using the same charger since before the update, it used to say 1 and a half hours till full when I'm at around 20 percent battery, now it says 3 hours at the same percentage. Any idea how to fix this?

SO , this is begin with my battery drain. i left my z5 dual at 30% at 12.00 am and go sleep , then at 05.41 am  it goes to 0% ( i know it from history attached). in history usage it even adressed -1A discharge rate ( i am not even using it). in my 1st to 2nd week of using z5, the battery was outstanding it last 1 day without charging then suddenly battery life performs worse and worse. NOW i got tronsmart TS-WC1Q it's qualcomm quickcharge 2.0 and i;m sure it's a genuine product. when i plugged in my z5 the voltage goes to 7.55 V but the flow never going above 1.3A ( and decrease as the battery percentage goes up above 80%), but when i plugged in samsung galaxy tab s2  T715Y ( which doesn;t support quickcharge 2.0) the voltage is about 5.3V to 5.5V and the flow goes above 1.7A , that's why i;m sure my charger is genuine since quickcharge charger has 3 diffrent voltage output and ampere flow output. So my phone is already died from 05.41 right? i wake up at 07.3x am in the morning and charge it (without turning it on). and the quickcharge thing is not charge my z5 faster, it takes 30 min to charge from 0%-23% (faaaaaaaarrr awaaayyyy from the qualcomm ad which is 0%-60% in 30 min) later i wait my z5 to fullcharge , and it takes more than 2 hours from 0-100%. My question is , did z5 REALLY support quickcharge? or is it just qualcomm fault for false advertising ? or my z5 is broken?

in advertisement it show 10 min charge

it have never charged  device in 10 min  from beginning

Nope, 10 mins charge for 5 hours use.
10 minutes full charge is an unreal expectation for many years yet.
