Problems with Exchange Activesync contacts

Hi,

I am using two different accounts on my Z2. The first one is my GMail account. Everything's perfect avout this. Second is my Exchange account. Here I figured ut that the Z2 des not sync my contacts. I checked all settings for the account and contacts are marked to be synced, but without success.

Has anybody an idea of what could be the probelms?

Thanks so much for the tip about Nine. I never would have known about it or to look for it. I installed it and everything is working fine. This is after several times of deleting the account using the built in app. It would work for a while (hours or days) and then it would only show me recommended email contacts. I lost the phone numbers and all of my regular contacts. It's definitely a Sony Xperia issue because I have had multiple Samsung phones and it worked just fine on those.

Brilliant!! This solved one of my problems. It seems insane that an Exchange account is not set to sync all the contacts by default.

Hello, I'm new in this forum but I hope you can help me with my Sync problems:

Z2 with latest firmware 23.5.A.1.291 

As I come from WP and use Outlook 2016 on my desktop I'd like to use my Microsoft Account in my Android device and consequently added my outlook.com account (email adress @outlook.com) to Xperia Z2 choosing the "Microsoft Exchange Active Sync" in the menu which comes after "add account".

Everything works fine, next to the emails, contacts and calendar is shown to synced (in the account settings) but in the contact app there are no contacts nor calendar entries from exchange shown. Filter in contacts app is set to show "all contacts" for MEAS account.

- I replaced "EAS.outlook.com" by outlook.office365.com but doesn't solve anything 

- at outlook.com - Microsoft account I deleted all Aliases and connections to social networks (Facebook, Linkedin etc.)

- I also deleted all App permissions shown at outlook.com 

- I installed https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.outlook&hl=de and checked "syncronize contacts" with no result , calendar sync not offered?

- I did a factory reset and skiped the google account on setup, then I added as first account ever the EAS account with no result

Has anybody a clue, how to fix this issue without moving from MSFT to Google?
