Problems with Exchange Activesync contacts

Hi,

I am using two different accounts on my Z2. The first one is my GMail account. Everything's perfect avout this. Second is my Exchange account. Here I figured ut that the Z2 des not sync my contacts. I checked all settings for the account and contacts are marked to be synced, but without success.

Has anybody an idea of what could be the probelms?

Thansk for your input.

BR,

Christian

I have a very similar problem. After setting up exchange to sync mail, calendar, tasks and contacts everything seems to work ok for a few days and then suddenly contacts stops syncing. I have deleted the entire exchange account and re established it with exactly the same result. Contacts no longer syncs. I also have a POP3 email account but do not sync contacts. This is very frustrating. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I got exact same issue, after add google account, outlook.com contact didn't sync anymore. The workaround - to delete google account didn't work for me.

Any help would be appreciated!

This sync problem is a serious one for a business user. No response yet from sony! Seems to be a common problem. Can this be resolved with a software update?

try to make sure in your contacts settings you have the particular contacts synced with your device in filter option ,under display contacts make sure all contacts is selected

I am also very disappointed about this bug. I also tried all mentioned above workarounds. Nothing helped. In addition to this, I have a severe malfunction in the BT section.

I am about to switch to an HTC.

Sorry Sony.

I have checked my phone and definitely have all Exchange contacts selected in Filters/Dislay Contacts.  There must be a simple solution to this problem.  How can such a fundamentally important capability be so problematic?

I have a similar problem. The exchange contacts are searchable through the e-mail app, but not through the contacts. This really needs to be fixed, since many of my work related phone contacts are in my personal exchange address book.

I am also experiencing this problem. Phone connects to exchange server for a while (1 - 2 weeks) then comes up with the message 'Could not open connection to server'

I have had to delete the account to try to get it to reconnect. It did reconnect but has since dropped again. I dont want to have to delete and reconnect everytime the problem happens. This is a business phone and the connection is important.
