No mobile data after upgrading Z5 Compact to 32.2.A.0.305

I just upgraded my Z5 compact, and lost all mobile data access.

EDIT: I'm located in Norway and have Telenor as the operator.

I've tried rebooting my phone, often after each setting change, with no effect.

I've tried:

- Checked the data provider

- Turned off and on again Mobile Data

- Turning off Roaming

- Turning off Power Saving

- Changing to 3G only

- Changing to 4G

- Redownloaded Internet Settings from the network provider

- .. and probably more

Nothing seems to work. There doesn't seem to be a problem with my network provider, which I didn't expect as it happened immediately (I think - had mobile access some hours earlier) after upgrading.

Is someone else experiencing the issue and/or knows a fix?

Edit, Solved by sms: fiks Internett to 1999 (telenor sends you a new setup).

Same problem with Z5, No mobile data after upgrade. In Norway with Telenor.
Tried everything incl full factory reset with and without backup. After doing the full factory reset, I even lost call possibility unless I use 'call over wifi'..

Har a customer drop by ny shop today, Z5 Compact, and same problem there too. Downloading the Telenor isp info did not fix anything.

Same problem.
Got in touch with customer service in Telenor. Sent a textmessage to 1999 with the text "fiks internett".
Problem solved.

This worked for me:

I sent an SMS to 1999 with the following text: Fiks internett

Ref: https://www.telenor.no/privat/kundeservice/mobilhjelp/internettpamobilen/

Click the element "Last ned oppsettet for MMS og Internett her"

The "fiks internett" solution, did not work for me..

Sending the message gives the following immediate reply:
«Du vil om kort tid motta oppsett for internet til din Nokia 206. Lagre oppsettet når du mottar oppsettsmeldingen.»

Then nothing..

Remember to restart your phone. And make sure you turn off wifi to see if you 4g is back Slightly_smiling_Face

Sending "fiks internett" to 1999 worked for me aswell! Telenor, Norway, as the others.

Same problem on my Z5 Compact, Telenor. Still no fix that works for me Thinking_Face

What i have tried so far:

  • Delete the APN settings and setting them up manually.
  • "Fiks Internett" to 1999. My phone do not recive any settings. Telenor see all my request queueing up in their system, but my phone do not want to recive the settings. They said there was nothing they could do, the problem had to be fixed by Sony.
  • Turning on/off phone a bunch of times.
  • Turning roaming on/off
  • Turning 4G off
  • Ordering new settings from the settings meny on the phone. My phone then recives the settings, and they are a complete match to the settings that Telenor refers to on their site. But still no luck.

Edit: It finally works again! Did the same as Kaken, changed telenor.smart, to telenor. 

Did this yesterday, but it did not work then. And i have had the same settings earlier today, without any luck..

Anyhow, everything back to normal :smileysmileythumbsup:

Update. For my customer with the Z5 Compact, the fiks internett sms to 1999 worked fine.

For my Z5 wich have been factory reset, it still doesnt work..
