No internet service after apdate to 4.4.4 on Xperia Z

I updated my xperia Z to kit kat 4.4.4 this past weekend and my internet connection stopped working. I downloaded the the internet and mms settings for my carrier and still does not work. is this due to the update or is this my service providers problem.

Yes my wifi works great. I cant even send mms

Before looking at reloading the firmware it would be worth having a chat with your current network provider just to make sure there is no issue there.

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

I just went to my service providers store and they said that their service is up and running. what they told me is that in some cases when a software update is done to the phone it sometimes disruppts certain configurations of the phone.

I will try and reset my phone and see what happens.

I had the same problem. Downloaded setting didn't work. I fixed the problem by manually entering Access Point data. You can find the data at your cell phone provider website.

I m facing the same problem with my Xperia Zr. Mobile data is not working after update 4.4.4. When I reset APN, download Internet Settings and restart - Mobile data starts working. When I switch to wi-fi and then again switch back to Mobile data, it again fails to connect to Internet. I tried with manually setup of APN but that even is not helping. Please advice.

I'm having the same problem after the update with my ZL. I re-downloaded the settings from Tmobile, which it works sometimes, till I turn off the data, have to redownload it each time i need to use data.

I have to turn the data off because when the data is ON, phone restarts when there is no data activity. (this occured before the update, and still does when data is on with this update)

Before the update, i only had to turn data ON/OFF and it worked fine.

Seems, the setting are not "remembered" after turning it off since this update.

WI-FI works fine.

Any help will be appreciate it!

Looks like this (manually entering your APN) works ... at least once.

I'm with T-Mobile, and see some other mentions of it as the network provider, here is their page with the details for manual entry:

this happened to me, i just replaced my SIM card and done. It's just the SIM. (for my case)
