Microphone Problem only in Regular Calls| Lolipop 5.0.2

Hi everyone,

I have Z1 for one year, and it was really nice time, recently i upgrade to Lolipop 5.0.2, but then the mic stop working good.

If i make or recieve  a normal call, the other side can not hear me well, the vocie is bad and sometime its gone totally.

But if i try to recode a voice or movie or even make an internet call using Watts App or Facebook massenger, the mic is okay and fine.

Only in regular call it stop working good.

Any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This solution worked and my cell phone problem is solved.

1- backup all of your important data.

2- Reset phone to factory settings and erase yor internal memory.

3- Install PC Companion and connect your phone tp PC.

4- Open PC Companion and go to Support Zone page.

5- Select Phone/Tablet Software Update.

6- Now select Repair Phone/Tablet link and follow PCC instructions.

My microphone problem is fixed permanently after i've taken these actions.

Same problem after a recent update even the ear speaker quality decreased

When I receive calls I can hear them but they say my voice is faint and like I'm far away they say it's difficult to hear me can anyone help please

After updating my phone SONY Z1 to Lolipop 5.0.2. My mice started giving problem.

The other party in call not able to here what ever i say.

So if i do the facory serset as i know by pressing the red button next to sim slot. Would it solve my problem?

Hi,
I'm facing Exactly the same problem.
My voice cannot be heard by the other party.
I have to use Headset all the time.
I thought, this might be due to some physical damage to my mobile...or some hardware issue.
But I'm sure now that, it's only because of the Lollipop update.
I also lost data from Vault app...as its unsupported temporarily.
I'll now visit my Sony center to rectify their fault.

Sorry, you are kidding, right? Most of us tried that several times without any acceptable results. In my opinion it`s time to fix that bug!
