Mic problem returned after update 6.0.1

I had problem with mic - people couldn't hear me, because my voice was very quiet. Then I switched off mic noise suppression and everything was fine. Until update to 6.0.1. Now I have the same problem. And I can't switch off mic noise suppression, because this option is simply missed.

Any ideas how to fix this now? Or I should downgrade to previous android version?

UPD: may,19. Sony market topic as solved. But it isn't really solved at the moment. They will roll out an update in "upcoming weeks". And because we still have the same problem, I unmarked topic as solved. As soon as we will have the noise suppression option back and this will really help us - then I will return the solved mark.

UPD 2: In. 575 version the noise suppression function is back. People can hear me again. Thanks, Sony

Just upgraded to Marshmallow and since then people that I call or call me say they can't hear me well, call volume is low and my voice appears muffled. Can you please fix this right away, call quality is the primary function and need of a phone. I did the mike test, all is good, safe mode re-start, disinstalled recents apps that might have been interfeering, and eventually reinstalled operating system too, all with no resolution. People can't hear me when I talk on the phone. CALL QUALITY ID THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE PHONE. PLEASE FIX IT! Help please.

Everyone has clearly tried that and the problem lies in the update. All 3rd party calls are fine just regular phone calls sound like we are underwater. In the old update you could turn off noise suppression but now it would seem that the feature has been activated and then blocked from being changed as it is no longer present

Sony should have tested this before screwing up everyones phones. Now they want us to get it checked at a service center? Give me a break? Thats pathetic

Total BS

Hopefully the so called beta testers do a better job this time around. I wonder how long it usually takes from beta to official rollout?

And still not a word from Sony, even though they seem to be aware of the problem. Well done, Sony. Not.

OK so I stupidly just updated my Experia Z2 and immediately had the same Mic Problem as everybody else. Come on Sony admit you have a problem and fix it!

If Sont does not acknowledge this problem very shortly I will NEVER migrate from Sony to Samsung and I'm sure I'm not the only one. This is why Sony is no longer a Great Company and why they are no longer the leaders in Phones, TV, Video, computers .....

I have a Z3 compact, two weeks from now i update the firmware and since then i have problems with my mic.

I tested the hardware and is working well.

I made a hard reset but the problem still persist.

I had read all the threads in this Subject, and is more than obvious that the problem is in the firmware, so pleas Sony say something, let us know when you will sove the problem.

Hi, I have same problem now after update - I have to use headphones while I'm calling to be understandable - it is not too comfortable workaround till Sony will fix it!!!

I have the same problem. Turning off noise reduction fixed the error in previous android versions. This option is not available anymore in Android M.
Pretty annoying to have a phone unable to make phone calls... Looking forward to a fix (or a proper phone)
