I've been using a ring tone that I downloaded when I first got the phone. I've now lost it - not quite sure how, either because I moved all my music to the SD card or someone who was helping me with something else has inadvertently messed it up -I've now moved a tune back from the SD card to the internal memory but can't figure out how to set it as a ring tone.
When I go into Settings / Sound /Phone Ringtone it comes up with 3 options :- File Commander, Media Storage and Sound Picker and I can't see it anywhere in any of those.
Can anyone help ? Please ?
Thank You
x

Open the Music/Walkman app then find the file and tap and hold said file then select Set as ringtone
Doesn't seem to work. Not sure I'm using the same app as you mention. Mine's just a picture of some headphones and says "Play Music" When I locate the tune and press and hold, there are various things that come up e.g. Start Instant Mix, Add to Playlist etc etc but none of them is "Set as ring tone"
Ignore my last reply. I've sorted it - found the correct App Thank You x
Could you share the solution?
Don't where the original answer / solution's gone to, but here it is. Open the Music App (purple background with a music note in it), find the track you want, press and hold and a list of options will appear. Select Set as ringtone, and there it is - Magic !!:smileyhappy:
The solution is simple and most of the people know about it but good job.
