thank you very much, i collect information about this issue. I will pass it to the German Mobile News like "Connect" because SONY is not responding anymore to this issue.
I tried every contact option.

My operator will do an exchange for me, but SONY behaves unpolite and unprofessional, it's a shame !

Are Sony charging you for this design flaw if you send it in for repair? Mine is almost coming out but I can gently push back in, nether the less this should not happen seems a number of handsets have this issue, I've had two handsets with the same problem...Bad Sony quality control!

I sent my z2 in after the LCD for my phone bled internally. I suspect the loose magnetic porthas caused water seepage. (I brought my phone for a swim)
They changed e LCD, e side frame and the back panel.
A simple repair which took them days to fix. I still my phone off on 9 June and got it back on 26 June.

Hello everyone,

Same issue here, so far Sony has proven to be the most disappointing manufacturer I have ever dealt with.
The magnet port popped out from my phone and went lost, I sent the phone to the sony repair centre in the UK and instead of confirming that my handset is defective, I received a quotation of 175 GBP to replace the port and the whole screen. I refuse to pay this amount for a brand new phone, I just want my phone back for now but they are not even able to post it apparently...I have been waiting for more than 10 days just to get it returned but no luck yet. The Z2 is simply the best phone I have ever owned, too bad it is produced by a company which does not take responsibility for faulty devices and provides a customer service that is simply ridiculous. All in all my z2 has been with sony for a month now... If anyone has any suggestions, please share! I will do everything possible to make sure sony does not just get away with this.

in Germany Sony Care told me that this is no guarantee ....because it is a damage on the outside !! The wanted to check the phone and tell me a price for repair !! the phone is 2 month old ...

i got it replaced by my operator, but SONY this is a shame ...

Actually Sony UK is the troblemaker, not the repair centre. All the repair centre did was estimating how much the fix is - once this is done the whole responsibility to deal with the customer is sony's.

Sony has refused to give me any kind of assistance, won't cover the device on warranty and the customer service has been just incredibly bad. If you want me to be more specific, I can share a bunch of examples...

Bottom line is, I spent about 600 GBP for a phone that has been away for a month, will come back as it was (with a hole on its side), won't be waterproof anymore and  won't allow me to use the magnetic charger (DK 36) I paid for.

I thought there was something called consumer rights, but Sony seem to ignore this...
