Lollipop charging bug ???

After lolipop update I can't charge the phone to full, i already made a clean setup via pc companion after i resetted the phone.
My phone goes to 84% and starts blinking charging/notcharging, so finally after 10 h of charging it has only 85% of accu. Anyone had the same?

P.S i can charge my mobile while its turned of ..
Also im sure there are no apps is consuming the battery while im charging it .


Please fix this with an update or just tell is what to do..

Same for my Z2. The system updated yesterday evening to 5.02, since then it refuses to charge above 90%...

Guys i think i solved it ..
I replaced the usb cable with another one plus doing a factory reset solved my problem !
Im very sad to lose my apps but i downloaded them all again ..
But now my mobile works like a charm and its charges normally
Try to do this ans tell me if it works or not .
Im waiting for your replies .

I'm using SONY AC/DC USB adapter EP880 1269-4142.1
Type: AC-0401 EU (1500mA output)
I tried different settings, cables from cheap to gold plated - no difference.
I'll try a reset to stock setting, but don't think it has any sense after doing a clear system installation and 2 times of system repair with PCC.
But I might have a clue...
When I first installed lolipop my xperia was 65% charged after work, and it didn't charge after 80%, when I was repairing system the phone was charged to 93% and it didn't charge further than 95%... 
Can You check if battery actual status while updating has any relation to the bug?

Sorry to say but I'm quite happy not to be the only one with charging problem, I thought my phone charging section went damage in some case...
Hope Sony will release a fast service update.
And do something with the notification/status bar, navigation icons. They doesn't hide neither on Opera, Chrome and maxthon browser, google calendar, walkman. Only some apps and album and games, the browser window keeps getting smaller and less text is shown, bring the auto hide back, that was the point when Z2 launched... self hiding nav icons and status bar.

Oh... When You guys get to 85% and get stuck press the power + vol UP and force close the phone, after starting again it should jump to around 92 / 93%. It's not a lot, but is always better than 84%. 
Scratched my head a lot thinking why lolipop doesn't recognize charging correctly, no idea..
I doesn't charge full when OFF, in safe mode, in normal mode, thru PC USB, charger USB, magnetic port, wifi on, wifi OFF, 3G or only LTE 😕

Was your phone fully charged when you restored system to factor?

Yes it works great right now .
I lost all of my data before i restore the system .
But now after i dowloaded them again i feel better.
I charged my phone more than 3 times .
From 20 to 100% it always take like 3 hours .
Now my phone is great .
I advice you to make a factory reset and start over again from the beginning ..
Plus replacing the usb cable with a new better one .
Just try my steps and tell me what happened with you .

I'll try it immedniatly this evening.
I know it's charging is now good but I asked what was the battery % when you started your system reset. Meaning.. will it take any effect when I reset it while I'm having 55% of accu or should I charge it to 100% to take effect?

I think it it will not effect
I resetted the mobile as u have in battery right now i think ..
Just one more thing ..
reset the mobile and start checking the charging issue without installing any apps . as i did !
It worked with me and now i have all of my apps back again but  the only thing that ive lost is the apps data and it's included chat history,bookmarks,and other things ..
This is not important
But finally my mobile is back as great as before BUT with Lollipop android without any problems !

Hi folks, I wrote my previous posts in the middle of the night. I'm a bit more lucid now! So here's the situation on my Z2 after the lollipop update. I'm plugged into the stock USB charger and charging is intermittent. The charging indicator is flashing on and off at around 2Hz, same with the LED indicator. After a while I get a message saying something like "your phone is discharging faster than it is charging, please limit phone use while charging". Problem is I'm not doing anything on the phone, I'm just staring at it! I can only get it to charge by switching it off. This is definitely lollipop related, everything was perfect until I did the update last night
