IMEI # not valid

I have problem to add my device xperia z3+ dual in to xperia care. The IMEI # is not valid. Why? What is the problem? Anyone please advise what to do

I had the same problem.  It turns out that the info screen on the phone does not give you the last digit.  Look at your box.  That will have the full IMEI.  If yours was like mine, and maybe this was a coincidence, the missing number was a five.  I have two new Z3+ and both of them had the missing last number, which was a 5, printed on the label on the box.  Very strange.  Once I found that out, the phones registered with Sony just fine.

to solve it i had sign out from my accunt

and register a new one with xperia accunt not with facebook or G+
