Heavy lag while scrolling call log

Dear SONY mobile,

The phone app lags heavily in call log after nougat update! I have already tried repairing using xperia companion or flashtool but nothing seems to fix this problem...

the interesting thing is even my friend's new XZ does also lag when using call logs!

Searching through support forum indicates that this a problem with all xperia phones on Nougat and meanwhile non of the threads consists of any proper replay from SONY reperestives to fix this annoying problems which makes call log useless...

just installed google phone app and it's buttery smooth...

It's actually very similar to sony phone app but does not lag at all!

well it's interesting how sony developers can managed to destroy an application wich works perefectly fine on its own!

Absolutely with you on this. I have been complaining of the sony dialer for my xa1 and sony would not listen! They have not even acknowledged that there IS an issue of lag here. As you have experienced, l too installed the Google dialer/phone app and its butter smooth
