Dialer not working with Android 4.4.4

After udgravning to Android 4.4.4 the dialer is not working. The Phone rings but the dial pad do not show up and there is not way for me to answer the phone.

What to do.

It could be a very good idea !!! But it wasn´t, b´cos the proximity sensor is okey.

Hi, have you installed any new apps lately.....have seen some 3rd party apps have some strange affects on things & not all the time 

Are you using the stock app for your calls or a downloaded 3rd party....do you have glove mode enabled??

Its a strange one, hopefully someone else will come along with an idea :smileysmileythumbsup:

I have the same problem. Incoming calls are not displayed. Screen stays black. It does ring, but I'm not able to answer the call... Also after last update. No extra apps installed on the device. Please help!

I think in both cases it might be best to reinstall the 4.4.4 update.......

we have the same problem... and I think we are not alone...

Last update was so good, I was so happy... and now...?

And I didn´t install any apps or something.

Back to old version? I don´t know...

so only surprise calls for me until next update, if you understand what I mean...

Do you think this forum is read by anyone from Sony Mobile? They really need to fix this quick! The most basic function of the phone (calls) is crippled. Shame for Sony's flagship!!!

We can only hope somebody (of SONY people) reads this. The registration of my Z2 faild !!! IMEI can´t be added on theirs page... What´s a shame...but i will tray each day again and confirm they wirh our problem.

I´ve got the solution !

You have to set an option called: InCallUI

To find in:

>>Options>>Apps>>(now select "ALL" at 3rd position right)

then scroll down to InCallUl and active it

I updated my phone 4 days ago. Since then, every time someone calls, it stays frozen on whatever app/lockscreen I'm on, and I have to use motions to answer the calls lol. Any ideas?
