I couldn't say as we aren't Sony staff and anything we do say regarding questions of this nature would be speculation as we simply don't know and I wouldn't like to say yes you'll be fine only to find out in 2 weeks lets say that it wasn't ,

However if you visit or return your device to the place of purchase then you maybe able to compare yours to that of one in store and be able to make a more satisfactory conclusion as to whether it is defective or not

I have something of a back flip because as I press the SONY logo is creaking.
