camera issue

When photos are taken, my Sony has started saving them horizontally not vertically. I have to open my album and rotate each picture so that it is correct. Any suggestions on how to rectify?

what happen when you rotate the screen/phone?

settings > display > auto-rotate screen

When I rotate the screen so it is horizontal the camera takes vertical photos. The phone is set for auto rotate.

settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart your phone > check again

btw are you using a magnetic case?

I am using a rubber case.

After turning the phone completely off and on again, everything worked as it should, thank goodness.

Odd little glitch but frustrating.
