Camera automatically turning on

3 days ago, I've use my phone on a pool party I had with friends. After using it, I dried it off and it seems to he working perfectly fine afterwards. Then a few hours later, the phone camera automatically turns on even with the screen locked. I read one thread that he just left it to itself and air it out, I did too overnight. The next day it went back to normal but now it's doing it again. I tried the reboot with the red button, it's still the same. Any advice before I turn this in to the service center?

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

If the above does not help, you should take it to the closest sony service.

Yesterday, exactly 29 hours ago,I've watered my Xperia Z1 in the sink for clean up my phone. After cleaning it,I dried my phone as @rossettesp do it.Before I clean up my Z1,I've already check the USB port, etc to make sure It's been closed well or not as the usual.

After 3 hours later, when I use my phone to checked the notification. After 1-2 minutes,Suddenly my camera was automaticly launched.First time,I think my hand has pushed the camera shutter inadvertenly. But,It was launching automaticly continuously.I got into save mode,But still happenned. Then,I think maybe my camera has crashed or something.

This morning,I've factory reset after The camera Automaticly launch when I was used it for gaming. After I've done my Factory Reset, but, sometimes It still happened when I downloading apps from playstore.Because not too often,I ignored that and charged my Z1.After fully charged,I used it and after the first 15 minutes,The camera was automaticly launch more often than this morning and took some photo until That's disturbed my dinner, etc. Then, exactly 1 hours ago,I've totally factory reset. After I've finished it,It's been still automaticly launching until this time

Anyone Please advice,If U had the answer of this problem.Thx U

Repair the phone with PCC or contact your local Xperia care if PCC doesn't work
