When you select "SILENT" in Android 5.0, you are actually selecting "No interruptions" which means that you don't get any notifications, not even LED. This is standard for Android 5.0.
In our latest update we have however changed this so the LED is still active when you select silent. But depending on where you bought your phone (country and operator) you may not have received this update yet. When you receive the update to our latest software, the LED will work in silent.
Thank you for the answer. What about the call connections?
When you select silent in Android 5.0 you will also disable LED notifications. It's not a bug, it's standard for Android 5.0.
@Rickard odd, because on my lollipoped Z3 i have led notification even in silent mode (have in all modes)
Are you sure @mrnino ? Maybe you don't have it on silent,it might be on vibration.
i am sure, because at work i have silent mode and check my phone by watching led, if it notifies
It sounds like you are in vibrate. To set it to silent, press the volume key and then tap "SILENT" in the menu shown in the phone.
But if you do get led notifications in silent the only thing i can think of is that you have a 3:rd party software that allows this or that there's some sort of issue with your phone. I've seen that you have posted some other issues as well that i can't replicate either. Based on the IMEI you have registered in your account, Lollipop is not available for your phone yet. Have you perhaps used some 3:rd party software to flash your phone?
Hi, Since the recent update, when I receive an SMS or a social network notification etc except for the battery, the LED does not light up. I don't understand. I have reboot my phone, but nothing. Can you help me ? Thanks...
