Hi,
is there a way to completely remove or disable the Sony Throw? The reason im asking this is because when i connect my bluetooth headphones, Jaybird X2, Throw is started and it is trying to connect my device, and it prevents me from using them without first closing the Throw notification. Im not sure if Throw is the reason, but Z5 Compact cannot remember my headphones trusted device state either - it will ask it each time i connect them..
The Throw is disabled from the Settings > Device connections > Throw.
The perfect solution would be way to uninstall it...and the other Sony bloatware too.

Things to try
settings > apps > all > smartconnect > clear data > restart the phone
and also check > settings > xperia connectivity > throw settings > turn it off
Settings > apps > all >
Thanks for the reply uliwooly, unfortunately it didn't help. I even disabled Smart Connect, but not luck.
I also noticed that Smart Connect contains event for Jaybird X2 with a function 'Throw', but i cannot delete/change it.
Still searching...

Nope, doesn't help. I reseted the phone and it seems to work now better. Too early to say tho.
I will update after few days of use.

Resetting phone did not help: Throw is blocking access to Bluetooth even when Smart Connect is disabled, or its data has been cleared. Not sure if this is the problem, but whenever (after first clearing Smart Connect's data) i connect my headphones into phone, someone (Throw?) will add Jaybird X2 into Smart Connect, with Throw as function.
It would be nice if someone from Sony would comment this somehow.

I think i have the same problems with Throw.
We need a way to disable it..
Just adding another voice here. I am generally very happy with the z5c BUT.... throw/playanywhere interrupting the bluetooth connection randomly is driving me nuts. Close to dumping this phone and trying another. Have tried all the advice in this forum for disabling throw/playanywhere, but they always come back on their own. Cannot reliably hold a bluetooth connection. PLEASE, Sony, offer an update which includes a way for the user to disable these functions more reliably.
Thanks for the suggestion. After reviewing the instructions on various forum posts, I tried using adb too, but was denied permission. Did not root phone - above my comfort level with tech. Forums suggested root was not necessary. Do you know a way around this?
