While charging the flashlight turns on but it's dim

I put my xperia xz on charge and I noticed that the flashlight was on but really dim. I looked at my settings alnd it said the flashlight was off and when I stop charging the phone the light turns off. What is this?

Have you tried any simple troubleshooting such as a reboot to the handset?

I am also experiencing the same issue. Turn the flashlight off on the phone, yet it stays dimly lit and flickers intermittently...but if you remove the charging cable the light goes out completely. Very strange.

I got same issue. Every time i charging my XZ, flaslight is dimly lit. Rebooting did not solve the problem.

I'm facing the exact same problem...

while charging flashlight is blinking if the battery level is less than %20

I realized that when battery level is up to %50 then stop blinking.

Restarting the device not solved the problem.

Opening and closing the flashlight also were not a solution.

On the other hand when I plug the charger, flashlight blinks once.(usually the battery level is more than %20)

Recently brought mine less than a month old same issue.

Does only seem to do it on certain occasions however nothing in particular seems to stand out other than maybe what was mentions above about the battery level being below 20% is true.

If I unplug the charger and reconnect it this solves it temporarily until the next time it occurs

I can attest to this as well. Had my XZ for less than a month and just spotted this issue. It just seems to be when the device has been put on charge. Any suggestions to stop this from happening would be appreciated
