Twitter app not working after update

After update 41.2.A.7.35 Twitter didnt work. Cant't load any tweet ir timeline

Any solution?

I have same. 

Twitter doesnt work and also excel, PowerPoint and word refused to open anymore after updating sony xperia x. 

Please help!!

I have exactly the same problem.

I am stuck in a loop of Twitter 'support' cut and paste emails, and Sony support telling me to do a factory reset and email the twitter app developer - except the email address doesn't work.

Why do companies always presume it's user error?! 

So annoyed, I am having a moan on a forum so it must be bad!

Well, today i turn off the device and when i turn on again the problem is back... /facepalm

Sony  not offer any solution and only says "its a 3rd parte app"(but repair sw solves temporally) ...

Yesterday my Xperia X5 c updated to 7.1.1 now Twitter doesn't work. Support said to reset software but some are saying that doesn't work. I'm on Twitter lite until Sony/Twitter sort it.

I have been having the same problem. It is clearly a problem with the 7.1.1 update. I am on twitter lite until Sony sorts this out.

Probably my last Sony phone to be honest. This is unacceptable. It should have been solved by now regardless of who is responsible for the bug. I'm also having the same issue with the GroupMe application.

Since the last update Twitter app no longer works on my Sony Xperia z5. The app recognises certain settings like the username and password.. also things like the day/night background settings, but it does update tweets and when you close it, it reverts back to the log on screens as if it's just been downloaded. Sony says it's twitter, twitter says it's Sony.... Whoever.. please sort it.

This is the last Sony product I purchase.... Z5.

 I have to make calls on loudspeaker due to the microphone issues, the battery drains really quickly (which may be my fault but Im pretty certain my girlfriend's Samsung does not have similar issues) and now they cannot be bothered to resolve the issue with one of the most important communication apps out there.

I will also be actively telling people not to purchas Sony phones as they are sh1te

Same issue with Twitter App.  Thought it was me.  Nice of them to share with us their might be an issue.
