Twitter app not working after update

Hi,

After update 41.2.A.7.35 Twitter didnt work. Cant't load any tweet ir timeline

Any solution?

Changing my username seemed to work for me, just in case also edited bio and profile pic too although I doubt this had anything to do with it.

I do agree though that customer support is awful, sent a complaint to twitter two weeks ago and haven't heard anything from them.

... I followed your advice and changed my username on the laptop / chrome version, it didn't work but did show the new username on my app, still though no resolution

I've try to change the name of my Twitter account (the one with @).

Finally, works for me.

Still unbelivable that we have to do to use Twitter on Sony Xperia phones, really.

This worked for me too. Interestingly i changed it first with numbers and it did not work. Changed it to remove the numbers and it now works absolutely fine.

Yes, for me too. The change from the @name helps.

Seems like Twitter put out an update of its app today. For me it solved the problem. Twitter app works as before - tweets do upload and the app is not signing me out every time I close it. Hope works for all of you guys, it was really annoying to have waited for solution.

At last, it's fixed! Thanks for posting about the update as I'd given up hope and removed the app from my phone. I've actually found Twidere to be a really good 3rd party app in the interim but not being able to tag photos, do group messaging etc means that I'll be returning to the official app now.
