Hi there, I'm looking for help/advice regarding silent mode,
I'm not sure if it's a bug or desired function as google says almost nothing about my problem, whenever I put my phone into silence mode by using side buttons it comes back to regular mode of sounds after some time. It doesn't matter if I use it or not. I checked every possible setting insde the phone, I don't have an app controlling silent mode (actually I do but that's due to the problem so it's not a reason)
Do you have any advice?
thanks in advance.
I have the same issue, both on my Xperia XZ Premium I have now, and on my old phone.
I think I've narrowed it down to it just happening when on wifi, but need to test more to be sure.
I have tried in safe mode, still happens then. I dont have any apps related to sound, or wifi for that matter, maybe there's another app that is the issue. I've uninstalled apps that I've guessed could cause this, but since it's still happening in safe mode it shouldn't be any app at all.
Anyone know what could cause this?
Could this be due to a Theme applied that behaves erratic??
-Try deleting all downloaded themes and use on of the build-in ones to see if problem persists.
I have no downloaded themes, I had Nova launcher before but I deleted that as well, happens anyway.
It was using Xperia Loops, which is a live-background. I set it to use a static background to see if there's any difference.
No difference with a static background, same issue.
I has to do with xperia actions engine, you must disable it in settings, accesibility
I resetted my phone and havent had this issue last couple of days. I install a few apps at a time to see if there is any change.
The Xperia actions engine is off, not sure how it was before the reset. Maybe some app I had needed it to be on, I will check that one now after I install apps.
Thanks
