Nougat X-Reality and Super Vivid mode (bug on loading photos)

I've noticed that, after my Nougat update, it takes a lot longer for X-Reality or Super Vivid to "kick in" when viewing images in the Album app. It always had a slight delay but the the delay is now a ridiculous 5 seconds before it locks in when selecting an image to view with either of those two modes turned on.

If you try to zoom in on a photo, you can see that the photo is looking unclear, until the x-reality kicks in...
I saw that this bug it's happen only if you saw the photos horizontally, if you saw them vertically the time loading it's a lot faster...

It seems worse with 20-23 megapixel images.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've tried downgrading the Album app, clearing app data, etc. No effect. It appears to be a system-level bug.

Same issue here, is a bug with the new FW version, I think that in the next update will be fixed.

My xz just same,Its taking longer for sure then the z3c. Maybe also because the bigger pixelsize it take a while. I dont use it anyway because it make a unnatural colors compared to the computer. It sure will use more battery to.

Me too I bought X compact yesterday... In marshmallow there was no problem with X-reality engine but in nougat it takes 5-10 second to process pictures..

Even when image Enhancement is Off it takes long time to load pictures and show it clearly.. It's a software bug... Please SONY fix it thanks in advance..

Mine also does this, viewing pictures in the Sony album app are blurred at first then focus after 5-10 seconds, same with the image enchantments, they are delayed

Same problem here on X Compact. Since Nougat the pictures do not Sharply zoom the first appro. 8 seconds. Funnily, when I swipe to the next picture, it is already loaded so that I can zoom sharply
