No release notes with every update

The IMEI update checker tool provided in locked thread no longer working for XZ1.

Just for reference the XZ1 update pages still refer to 47.1.A.8.49 which is not latest by any means.

I have one feedback related to current Xperia Update system.
I have been noticing this annoyance from the long time.
Each time I see update screen I don't see release notes in there.

So after each update I have check whether issues I reported were fixed or not.

Is that so hard to put them in the OTA update screen ?
I know that OTA update screen can have release notes (I have used many Xperias so far) so what's the reason for not showing them recently ?

I know recently support pages of various mobiles show release notes but they are not updated regularly and defeats the purpose (I am not going to keep checking support page which is not updated regularly).

I'm afraid you will have to wait forever.

It's not just Sony, all brands have the same policy.

Unless there is something big to announce the fixes are not mentioned.

An update to a higher firmware number, a higher Android level or the latest security patch will be displayed.

Be glad that Sony is a forerunner nowadays in updating, both Android versions and security patches.

Are you sure ?
I have Nokia 6 which updates as fast as sony's and still have a nice release notes in OTA screen.
(Even if it is just monthly security patches and fixes)
Now that's not limited to Nokia even Oneplus, Essential, Heck even Mi does that.

I am glad that sony provides timely updates but this is a point which i think needs to improve.
