It seems that after oreo update xz premium stopped detecting otg pendrive, and I am not able to find any option in settings to manually detect the pendrive.
Has any body tried to use usb otg pendrive after the oreo update, please let me know

its automatically detecting after connect the OTG Pendrive please open the file commander its automatically detect it and you can use it. no need to select detect USB like previous one.

@chayanray I think it's enabled by default. Can you try for first a simple restart? That should trigger the detection.
Also, check if it shows up in file commander.

Yupp actually there was a problem with the microsd adapter, with a different adapter it is automatically detecting the sd card
Solution is perfectly valid and to add: if you are using 3rd party file manager tools e.g. ES File Explorer or other, often they display message that they only support FAT32 / NTFS which may not be natively compatible with the mobile OS. In case after inserting USB OTG it directly opens 3rd party File Manager app, go to App settings and clear the defaults. It should reset the link and allow native File Manager of the mobile to sense the OTG. This worked for me on XZ Premium running 8.0.0.
