com.android. phone stopped error

After update my phone isn't working. Non stop errors. What does this mean? How do I fix it?

@Jessie1775

It'll be wise to repair the phone with XC

Xperia Companion (XC)

I have the same problem. I don't know how to fix it

Hi @hple2002,

Try to repair your smartphone with Xperia Companion and see if the error message still shows afterwards... Post back here and if this has not fixed the problem, we can then make other relevant suggestions.

Using the companion didn't work for me.

@LONGbow17

Are you saying that after repairing the phone with XC you still experience the same issue?

Yes. Same issue as above. I tried the recommended Xperia Companion repair option but it didn't work.

I am using Sony Xperia XZ Premium. Upgraded to Android 8 yesterday when I start having the problem.

It always happened like this. I update an app on Google Play,

the message says "com.android. phone stopped"

tap on the message

Wireless network disconnected. No SIM appears

phone become locked.

I have to unlock the phone. Wireless network slowly reconnect.

every single update, that happens.

If I take the SIM out, using Wifi only to update app. I do not get that message.

I tried XZ companion repair twice

Thank you @gregoryopera

Notice the NO SIM on top immediate after google play app installed. everytime I update app, my wireless network disconnected that way

I have the same issue. Not sure if this has something to do with the fact I flashed the CE1 software on my XZ premium but I flashed the US one and so far no issues. Only downside is, no more fingerprint reader again. Hopefully sony fixes this issue.

Tried a few other firmwares with the same issue. Only US seems to have worked right now.
