For "Phone Idle" there is nothing much you can do, because this is software side.

What can help is to

  • Turn on "Airplane Mode" when you are not expecting any calls, texts, etc. For e.g. In class or when you are sleeping
  • Go into Settings -> Network & Internet -> Wi-Fi -> Scroll down and click on Wi-Fi Preferences -> Change "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" to anything other than 'Always'.   (Basically what it means is that when your phone is locked, it will not get any information (emails, whatsapp messages, etc.) via Wi-Fi until unlock your phone.

Other than the above 2, there is really nothing much you can do.

To check if the Battery Usage is fine, just see your Screen-on Time, a higher amount means good battery usage. I usually get between 3-6hrs depending on my time spent on gaming.

There are apps that don't sleep while you do.

- Going to settings->battery>tap on the battery symbol reveals what apps are draining your battery.

- Reading what the experts say can help a lot.

- Find out app behaviour in setting->magnifying glass->search for permission, tap app permission.
