Xperia zx1 Bluetooth not scanning

Phones unable to scan any devices (e.g headphones). Have tried all things such as restart, toggling, factory reset. Has anyone else been having this issue lately?

Yes, I've read that post and tried to implement that change, but it did not fix the problem. Some of of the other posts noted that this problem would be solved in the upcoming software update (8.1). Is there any clear date for that release? Thanks.

After the recent upgrade to 47.1.A.12. 34, Bluetooth is very broken.

The phone does not find any devices and if I turn off BT, it is not possible to turn it on again. I need to restart the phone, delete the devices, and then reconnect. Then it works a day or two...
