Battery drain during charging and video call

XZ Premium charged to 100%.

During plug with charger, I  start video call on 'LINE' application about 30 minutes.

The battery drain to 77%.

Is is normal?

I never found this event for iPhone FaceTime.

For sure a video call will use more battery than a normal phone call with a dark screen. Will it drain faster than the charger can keep up? If you had it charging at the same time it may still have drained but that does seem a little high. I wonder what the percentage of drain would have been if it was not plugged in to a charger?

I talk with my friend that have the same problem.
My friend uses the phone and shares wireless hotspot simultaneously while plugging in to ordinary Sony 1.5 A charger.

The battery drained during use the phone. And increase in phone temperature.

This problem was solved by change adapter to quick charge support (QC 2.0) charger.

I hope that Sony will correct this problem by improving the power management software.

May be next patch update.

That's normal, you can even see it with some games, that will drain the battery faster than the phone can recharge the battery; keep in mind that it won't be just that app running but multiple other apps.
