Z3 Lollipop update breaks Mirrorlink

Hi,

Since updating from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2, mirror link has stopped working with my Pioneer headunit. Is the Z3 still certified with 5.0.2 update?

It worked perfectly with 4.4.4. I have a Pioneer AVH-X2700BS unit (certified with mirrorlink 1.1).

My head unit keeps telling me to reset the smart device setting.

I am sorry to insist but the problem is very clear : my Z3 Compact bought in october 2015, runs with mirrorlink 1.0 (easy to see that in the apps details of the phone). And my headunit of car runs with the last version of mirrorlink 1.1. That's all.

Sony does not use for Z3 compact (with lollipop) the last version of mirrorlink and I cannot uprade it manually.I am waiting an automatic upgrade from Sony, perhaps with next android generation ???? (Marshmallow).

To be continued... but I am very disappointed about Sony customer focus...

I am having bluetooth as well as mirrorlink issues with my brand new Pioneer AVH-X2700BS head unit.

Previously, I was using the stock uConnect bluetooth in my 2006 Ram 1500 and having many issues on Lollipop. Previously, on KitKat, I had no issues with bluetooth connections.

Is sony putting out updates that break the phone? This is my first android and I've had it for two years - so far it has not performed very well. Has a solution been found for this problem? Considering downgrading my OS to 4.4.4.

Is there any patch on the next android update to fix the mirrorlink problem ? Just need to update mirrorlink 1.0 to 1.1.

Well if anyone is in Australia im seeling my pioneer avh5650bt and mirrorlink cdml100 cost me clost to 700 works perfect with sony phone's 

of anyone is keen $500 obo only been using it for 7 months before removing it and selling the car

I to have the same problem with Vitara and a Xperia Z5... 

I really hate this, new car and new phone. No synk, oh well, synk but not working!

Unfortunate I can not find any working (old) firmware for Z5.

I have just bought a new (2016) Volkswagen Tiguan. My brother's Samsaung Galaxy S7 connects via Mirrorlink immediatelly. Unfortunatelly my Xperia Z3 Compact does not. It try for several seconds than at the end it says, that the connection failed please check that the phone is unlocked. Of course the phobne is unlocked, even the car recognizes the phone as it states : available device: D5803. On top of that it rotates the home screen to horizontal, so it seem that the connection starts but at the end it fails.
