Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
With the information supplied, I can advise that this can be due to a mutitude of things, such as third party applications. I suggest you first try removing any applications that you have recently installed or updated to see if this helps resolve the problem.
If this does not help the issue, you can always Backup the handset using PC Companion or the Backup& Restore application within the device. After this has been done, perform a Factory data Reset.
Menu > Settings > Backup & reset > Factory Data Reset.

That's correct, back the device up first, and then perform the factory reset, then perform a Restore using the Backup & restore application.

You might have a battery saver or a task killer.
Do you have a 3rd party screen protector applied?
Try and remove the protector,see how it goes.
