Youtube app does not work

The youtube app does not work anymore it has been like this for a month now and everytime i open up the app it says this  attention there is no network connection right now but my wi-fi is fine and all the other apps work fine aswell its just youtube so i tried downloading a youtube.apk thingy and that didnt work either it just said parse error . so how am i meant get youtube to start working?

Hi there,

Settings > Apps > All > YouTube > Uninstall updates > Clear data/cache > Force stop > restart the phone and try again.

Try to remove the app as suggested above,it might not work anymore.

Hi,

I got the same problems but with all apps who i have done update. When i tried to open them, this message appear:
"The app "name app" is unfortunaly stopped"
I tried your idea alexrx but without "Uninstall updates" because i don't have this option and doesn't work.

Anyone know this problem and have a solution?

It's because device doesn't install updates properly.
Just uninstall app and then install latest version. It should be working ok.

Oh thanks i will do that for apps but for games if i uninstall them, i will lost all my data or the smartphone will keep it in memory?

If you clear data,all your memory regarding that app will be erased.
