xperia z5 over heated and now the screen will not work and the phone fails to start properly

My xperia z5 over heated in the sun earlier today, i put it inside and allowed it to cool but now it fails to start properly causing extreme heat and the red light to appear in the corner, after a few attempts sometimes the phone will start by its self but the screen shows nothing, just a slight glow but still a blank dark scrren, any aand all help will be appreated

Remove both SIM and SD cards > charge it for 1 or 2 hours > repair it with XC

Ive downloaded xc and followed all the instructions but it says i need to unlock my phone and turn on mlt but without being able to use my phones screen i do not know how to do this

You should be able to repair it while the phone it's off

ive tried doing the same process with the phone off but i recieve the same message , i have had some people mention the heat may have damaged the screen and it needs to be sent back for repair but wheni just turned the phone on the screen worked for a few seconds then went back to the dull light again

I have another idea, it's a long shot but it could work, assuming that the touchscreen still works, does it?
