The phone vibrates thrice when I try to turn it on, this happened after I used it underwater, approximaetly 20 minutes after. I tried to boot it b pressing the power and vol key down together, it just shows the sony logo, and then vibrates thrice and turns off again.

Sorry to hear this but the three vibrations you feel normally indicate a had reset being perform so my only advice is that you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
