Xperia Z3 D6603: Throw doesn't work

Hi,

I have a brand new Z3 D6603 with 4.4.4. When I use the Walkman app and press Throw, I locate the two devices I have 

which is the Onkyo NR515B and a Asus RP-AC52. I press one and it says "Connected". But then no playback starts, nor does the device (e.g Onkyo which is connected to a TV) show any changes. If I press play again in the Walkman app nothing happens. Disconnecting returns sound through the internal speakers.

What can I do?

I used to have that problem. I have since updated to Lollipop. It has happened with my car, but doesnt happen most times anymore. What I found was if I didnt start driving right away and left the car in park it would update sync and throw would work fine. With Lollipop it happens less, but I think most problems with throw are not to due with the Z3. Thanks Sony great device and I look forward to more updates, and hopefully a loudness setting in Walkman.

Try this:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Xperia extension for throw -> Force stop, Clear data and restart your phone.
