Hi All,
Since my last update in France with the 23.0.1.A.5.77 I have some issues with my touch screen.
Some space in the touch screen doesn't react.
I thought it was a keyboard problem but when I proceed with the diagnosis apps, it shows that the screen doesn't react normally on some parts of it.
Do you have a solution please ?
Regards.
Jev
I would suggest you to try a repair using PC companion that will hopefully fix it.
Sounds like I have the same issue. Did you try what was suggested above and did it work?

My Sony Xperia Z3C touch screen's top half stopped working suddenly 21.12.
Phone bought 5 weeks ago. In my opinion - I had great protection for possible bruises. Nillkin hardened temper glass and silicone case. Phone hasn't received major damage, only normal use. I removed temper glass and found crack in original glass. Crack were in bottom half of screen, but in that area touch screen responses normally.
I'm very disappointed. My former phone Xperia Acro S still working after ~20 months quite well, and after month usage new "better" phone stops working even it has been on identical use.
Software repaired with Sony Companion, but no different. I've booted phone several times and with hard reset too.
Check video in browser, it has pop up messages.
Same problem for me. The left of the screen do not respond as it should. In fact when I touch the letter Q of the xperia keyboard the letter S appear but it the same problem from the top left to the bottom left corner.
I can't open the left menu in the apps view (where you can sort the app).
I made a demand at sony assistance online today.
I received my phone today, 1 month after I sent it to SBE center.
Problem not solved, apparently it tooks 1 month to update android. Whereas, I precised before to send my phone, that I already tried updating and factory reset... (It took me 15 minutes) Unacceptable!
I'm not gonna re-send it because I saw on several forums that was ineffective.
A phone bought less than 6 month ago (under warranty), if it can't be repaired in 1 month, I think it must be replaced.
My laywer wife will take care of my problem by sending a formal letter to SONY.
