screen turns to darker suddenly

My xperia z1 usually turns to darker screen when I play plants vs zombies 2. after that, it back to normal , then become darker. about one times for 2 minutes. can you help me ?

Set the brightness to manual and not automatic

Probably you've set brightness to automatic
