Xperia Z1 - Waterproof

just a quick question here. Z1 phone is a waterproof phone. My phone's usb charging flip case(as shown below) is losen as the rubber that holds the grip gone missing. May I know is it still water proof?

No, it's not. These flaps must be firmly closed to assure water proofness, if any of them are loose or open you'll definitely get water inside your phone if you immerse it, not sure if it's still splash proof.
