Xperia Z wont sync facebook contacts

I have added my facebook account, and clicked the box, to sync contacts. However, nothing happens. No contacts is shown.

I have tried to click update, and even let it rest over the night, in case it needed more time.

It is the exact same problem i had with a Huwai cellphone i bought. I returned it, because their techs could not help me.

Please help me out.

Open the contacts section > Menu Button > Filter > Ensure everything is ticked under the "Contacts to Display" section.

I have contacts that have previously synced with Facebook, but recently I got a new handset as my last one was unfixable, and I have clicked sync contacts with Facebook, as well as ticked Facebook in the "contacts to display" section. Please help!!

I should add that neither of these things have worked!

All contacts are synched, profile pics show up on the contact list but Caller ID photos do not show up during calls.

I updated the software to my Xperia Z. And now I cannot sync my Facebook contacts to my contacts. I've tried everything, uninstalling the app, reinstalling the app, erasing duplicated contacts, change the settings on the contacts menu, and nothing works. I contacted Sony support and they said that Facebook changed their own settings and they erased the option to sync contavts with all android systems. Is this true or just a way to not help me. Please help.

@Casies That is true, facebook removed this option and it's not sure if they will bring it back.

So, nohaw phone contacts don`t sync with Facebook? What  is at fault here: Facebook apps or Sony mobile software update? Because, I had seen what contact don`t sync with Facebook, after Sony sony software update... Before, it`s all okey. It`s thing my is big problem...

This is a facebook decision, not sony's problem.
