Xperia Z tablet - SD card size

Anyone know with the Xperia Z tablet if there's a maximum size allowed for the micro SD card? Cheers, Orlando

Depends on which model of the Tablet Z you have. SO-03E, SGP311, SGP312: SDXC up to 64GB; SGP321 SGP351 SGP341: Up to 32GB.

Many thanks Samuel. I think mine is an SGP311; so that would mean 64Gb I guess. Cheers. Oh, just a thought - any clue as to the best (free) tethering software to use to link my tablet to my phone? I was looking at PDA Net+ - any thoughts? Thanks again, Ollie

I guess you mean connect the tablet to use your phones network? That depends on the phone model. Most new android phones has built in tethering so you don't need any 3rd party apps at all.

As you've probably guessed, I'm not very knowledgeable on this subject. I checked the user manual for my HTC Desire X but nothing leapt out at me. So I'm none the wiser really. Thanks anyway, Orlando

Hm, from what I can find the Desire X should have Android 4.0/4.1 (which has built in tethering). Should be somewhere under Settings > More, possibly More > Internet sharing/hotspot. There you should find a guide to help you set up the tethering without use of any 3rd party apps. Good luck!

You're right Samuel - I checked. (you should be on a percentage with Sony )

I'll give it a try.

All the best,

Orlando

Hi

I've heard that with the next firmwareupdate, U can have an 128GB-card. Is that true?

I don't think there are 128 microsd cards out there.
