Xperia V won't startup, vibrates continously when being charged

Hello.

My Xperia is about a year old, and I have recently gotten a hold of a new PC. This issue started when I tried to connect my Xperia V to my new PC through USB connection (Keeping in mind, I have done this a countless amount of times on other PCs) and now, my Xperia V instantly died the moment the connection was made. Whenever I try to charge the phone through a regular charger, the phone vibrates continously with the power indicator in a flat menacing RED light that won't die out. The vibrating won't stop unless I unplug my phone from charging.

I need help please!

I tried doing the Hold Power + Volume Up/Down and it has done nothing at all.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Have you tried to remove the battery for a while? Then try to charge for a couple of hours and try to start it again.

If the the phone still doesn't charge I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > click on the blue highlight (Repair my phone/tablet). Do this without the phone connected. Follow the instructions on screen to perform the repair.

Thank you for replying.
I have tried removing the battery and returning it to charge it, but the vibrating could not stop and causes the phone to heat up at extreme temperatures, but it eventually stopped. Now, whenever I charge my phone the LED does not even light up anymore. But with my eyes still hopefull, I tried using the PC Companion fix, and again no avail.
I fear my Xperia V is almost broken now, or maybe my battery could be an issue?

Sorry to hear that. In that case I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:
